Oak Tree House

Oak Tree House is the first of many projects that aim to show that with collaborative working between designers and builders, it is possible to build without aesthetic limits, economically sustainable timer structures / buildings. To be certified as passive the structure needs to meet a strict set of criteria which introduced challenging details which were addressed collaboratively to ensure that there was no break within airtight and thermal lines. This was including using a twin wall for depth of insulation maintain air tightness and improve structural performance of the wall.
